Young Diet is a simple and healthy diet to help you loose unnecessary weight, obtain a great figure in a reasonable amount of time. It is not a quick-fix, and it is moreover the opposite of it.
Do not try this diet if you smoke or use any drugs that are affecting your health. If you like this diet you need to seek advice in quitting the cigarettes first. Dieting and smoking is like drinking fried oil after one day of cooking fries with it.
It will try to inform you about a lifestyle that has to start once and never end. A diet that is not related to time and effort, it is a lifestyle that you can follow or ignore. With this i mean that you cannot start a diet that will end in 3 or 6 months. You have to eat your portions that are consumable within the same day.
Now the breakfast and the foods that will be included in it. This diet is more for people who work in a busy environments: urban cities - where the pollution is inevitable and where free radicals can damage your skin cells day after day.Young diet will protect your skin and regenerate your internal functions.
Breakfast
Probiotic yoghurt in the morning will help your digestion that is very slow because you've just got out of bed, and many avoid starting with an exercise which can be a supplement in this case.
A probiotic yoghurt(not more than 250g) can be an excellent start. If you eat more it can cause diarrhoea, and with a severe diarrhoea caused by this product day after day your bones will be on risk of consuming themselves.
I will suggest an organic natural pro-biotic yoghurt, with no added fruits as it has a lot of sweetener in it and concentrated juice, which again can cause diarrhoea and consume your bones if used in a long-term. So sweetener and probiotic related products are good in their recommended daily amounts.
My advice is to start thinking about the food as a single item in it's most natural form and not mixed with many other ingredients of which you know very less. If you read an etiquette of a product and you find endless list of unknown ingredients, put that back on the shelf and go to search for something that looks simpler and easy to read,
Start with making yourself a tea, I like green tea as it has 40 beneficial properties(like no other tea on the market) among which EGCG, that acts as a powerful anti-oxidant, inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, it kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. So if you like tea in the morning this will give you a healthy start and confidence, that in healthy terms means protection.
After you ate the yoghurt you can have a glass of grape juice, at least 200mils. Remember to drink a squeezed grape juice, never from concentrate. If you don't have money to buy the squeezed juice drink just water and try an alternative that is either way, not from concentrate.
The grapes are richest in antioxidants, that you can find at a good price, other reliable are pomegranate and orange juice. All others are less powerful, even though still very beneficial in other ways.
Juice from concentrate it is not good in my diet, it's unnecessary sugar that you can get from more reliable foods.
Now is time to eat 5 different fruits of your choice. You can eat them fresh or blend them with a mixer/blender.The simple thing is to eat them raw. Don't worry if you get a bit bloated, this food will not make you fat, you need this effort on the beginning and it's the most difficult part to achieve for most of the followers, especially those who are used to eat fat and unhealthy breakfast: among these I would say ham&cheese, egg&bacon or egg&sausage toasted sandwich or any fried foods in the morning are free radicals for your skin and internal organs that need protection in order to function. If you consider these foods in your eating daily routine you are on a high risk of ageing prematurely and dying from cancer.
If you are a big fan of the eggs in the morning try poached egg, or steamed egg, which will give you the benefit of assuming the vitamins of the actual egg.
My preferred smoothie is made of frozen mixed berries, banana, orange, apple and pear. I plus add a bit of honey and fine 40g of oats ( here you need to look at how much sugar and salt they contain and choose that option that have the least sugar and salt). Porridge is another very healthy option, try with a hot water and fine porridge oats, nothing else with it. Simple.
About sugar and salt, I advise you not to consume them at all as they are, unfortunately and without our will, already in a big amount present in all the foods that you already eat. Therefore adding sugar and salt is like adding cement to your liver, a fuel for severe disruptions in your body.
How to make a smoothie that will last for three days?
The smoothie can be made in advance and preserved in the fridge for three days. But in that case you need to add pressed juice of any kind that will act as a preservative for 3 days, again not from concentrate. Don't add any sugar in this case, honey can be added only if you drink on the day of preparation.
At the end to finish your breakfast you can now have something more consistent that always has to come at the end of the meal, 2 bars of 70% dark chocolate.
Try to eat chocolate that has no Vegetable Fat or Palm Oil, and 90% of them contain this two ingredients, so pay more for a better chocolate and consume never more than 2 bars per day.
Remember that the ones that cost 60p or less they all contain these fats, and other fats that i will be scared to mention as it is impossible to produce them at that price if not using that fat to make them tasty.
From the other side If you eliminate completely the sugar from your diet, you will end up one day at the supermarket eating ten very fat and cheap chocolates that will make you feel hopelessly overweight. If you consume 2 bars of it from a selected brand that uses a controlled brown sugar you will balance this need that CANNOT be eliminated.
Monday to Sunday
Breakfast
Hot green tea with added 40g of cereals(I advice 'all bran' which contain 40% fibre and the ingredients are trusted) Leave the tea bag for 3 minutes, then remove tea bag and add cereals. Do not add sugar or any other concentrate flavours(syrups and the like)
200mills of natural probiotic yoghurt with honey
5 fresh different fruits or blended with a mixer
Porridge made with hot water (fine oats) - alternative homemade flapjack
2 bars of fine dark chocolate( no Vegetable Fat or Palm Oil )
250 mills of fresh milk. Do not add the milk in the porridge.
Do not have a coffee up until one hour after the breakfast
This breakfast is simple and is needed every day. If you want to change the porridge, you can have a plain croissant or a danish, but it's very tasty and it will tease your appetite, so you might end up eating more than one and the calories will be adding up!
Avoid the coffee and wait at least an hour after breakfast before you have a coffee as it will help you resist until lunch, which might be at 1 or 2 pm. After the coffee do not think about eating at all, you can drink a lot of water, by 1 pm you need to have consumed 1.5l of still wat
Everyday lunch - the ingredients that you need
For lunch I advise you to have a big salad that will be complemented with a nice portion of protein food and some carbohydrates. This is how it will look like.
The everyday salad that i've chosen it is not causal combination, and I will advice you to eat that every day as a base of your lunch. The 5 vegetables that you must eat every day are beetroot, rocket(spinach, iceberg, mixed leaf, baby leaf), fresh peppers(yellow,green,red), sliced or cherry tomato and, cucumber.
Further more you could add capers, jalapenos, green and black olives, sun-dried tomatoes, sweetcorn and boiled egg. You can make a salad with all these ingredients and mixed them in a container. It will take at least un hour to dice them up and you can store them separately in the fridge or mixed them together in a big container. Then this can be preserved for three days and can be your base salad for lunch. Now with the salad you can have a nice piece of protein. you can have a whole piece of chicken breast STEAMED, so that means it's just steamed with not even one ingredient in it and you don't need olive oil here as you will add that to the salad. The same is applied for salmon, that can be smoked, poeached(the healthiest option on the planet) or boiled with a light soup. You can also have 2 pieces of salmon, or maybe one piece of salmon and one portion of cottage cheese with diced pineapple.
Do not marinate the salmon adding spices, I would rather eat fresh chilli instead.
You can have 1 baguette(only brown, never white as it is bleached and it's extremely unhealthy in long-term) or 2 pieces of granary bloomer or sliced granary bread. Never use a toaster to toast things as it just kills the benefits of what you wanted to eat. So eat the granary bread fresh...as it is. If you like rye bread, do not eat more than one slice as it is very caloric.
The olive oil is the only pure fat that is allowed in my diet and mostly because it has proved scientific evidence of repairing damaged brain cells and many other beneficial properties, but it has to be used with care and not overused. It is enough to use it once for the lunch salad and maybe not for dinner. Remember that the salad with squeezed lemon is perfect(if you can't stand the bland salad), for those that cannot stand the strong taste of the olive oil.
Balsamic vinegar, to be honest I would'nt go mad as it quite caloric and maybe yes for the salad but not for dinner. Cider vinegar can clear your arteries and brighten up your skin, it also helps in reducing wrinkles, skin moles and burning fat.
The dinner it's simple. It can be made of another protein item, and then raw fruits and vegetables. but sugar and fat foods are to be avoided.
You should never eat crisps, not even as a snack. I think the snacks you would buy from a supermarket are not healthy most of the time, so you can eat a fresh fruit instead.
Have 2 or 3 cups of herbal teas in the evening. If you don't suffer from caffeine you can also go for Earl Gray or Assam tea too. They too help you to loose weight
